Is there a way to keep your hair smooth and how it looked when you go and get it cut at a hair salon?

I just got my haircut monday night, and today I washed my hair, and I straightened it and everything what the person that cut my hair and did what she told me to do. But it's not really the way it was before. I got layers a lot of them in my hair, and it doesn't really look like it. My mom said you can see it but I'm like ';yeah right'; so is there a possible way it could be like that? And smoothish? The woman who did my hair, she didn't use any hair products besides the fly away hair i had. And probably the shampoo and conditioner has something in it too but is there anything else? because it doesn't feel the same. :(Is there a way to keep your hair smooth and how it looked when you go and get it cut at a hair salon?
You can't have smooth and soft hair AND straighten your hair too.

Either this or that but not both.

Shampoo just washes the pollution %26amp; hair product, does not perform magic for you, no matter what the Ad says. Some shampoo will make your hair oilier Alberto VO5 for instance.

Conditioner is for hard water, damaged, permed, straightened hair, but there's NO GUARANTEE it will do the trick, also, no matter what brand conditioner you use.Is there a way to keep your hair smooth and how it looked when you go and get it cut at a hair salon?
Often the key at a salon is the amount of time spent drying and smoothing by constantly brushing. Their perspective on your head gives them an advantage! I'm happy with my InStyler - it gives a more natural look than a flat iron.
you need the prouducts that the hair dresser used on it. if you ask your hair dresser she/he can tell you what brand of shampoo/conditioner/styling product they used!
