Anyone know of a Minnesota hair salon/hairstylist that specializes in cutting and styling mixed race hair?

i go to the aveda institute minneapolis, and almost all the instructors do really well with highly textured hair. otherwise if you want to go somewhere really professional i've heard from a lot of people that VIP hair and nails on hennipen ave and 12th st in downtown is suppose to be really good.
